Welcome Future Author!

Publishing your book is more than just checking boxes—it’s a creative milestone and a deeply personal choice.

At As You Wish Publishing, we offer a calm, grounded publishing path for authors who are ready to do it right—with professional care, healthy boundaries, and soul-aligned strategy.

This isn’t a casual consult or free advice session.
It’s a selective process—because fit matters, for both of us.

About This Process

We want you to know—this application and interview process isn’t a critique of your writing. If your book fits the kinds of stories we publish and your message feels aligned, we’re likely already a yes.

What we’re really evaluating is fit:
Are you open, respectful, and able to follow the systems we’ve built to protect both your experience and our flow? That’s what matters most.

We only take on a small number of solo publishing projects each year, so this call helps us make sure we’re creating a healthy, mutual partnership—not just delivering a service.

If you’re a thoughtful author who’s ready to work within clear boundaries and systems, we’d be honored to hear more about your book.

How We Work

At As You Wish Publishing, we’ve built a clear, empowering system that supports authors without confusion or codependence. We value calm, structure, and mutual respect.

Once you apply and schedule your interview, we’ll review your submission before the call. If it’s a fit, we’ll meet on Zoom. If not, your deposit will be refunded.

For now, what matters most is alignment—both with your book and with how you show up as a publishing partner.

What Happens Next

STEP 1:

Start Your Application

Complete a short application and submit your $200 refundable deposit. Then choose a time for your publishing interview. We review every application before the interview. If we’re not aligned, we’ll cancel the interview and issue a full refund. If you don't hear from us, you can assume the interview is confirmed.

STEP 2:

Join Your 45-minute Interview (on Zoom)

This conversation is where we explore your book, your goals, and whether we’re the right fit to publish together. If more time is needed, we’ll follow up by email within 24 hours. If we decide not to move forward, your deposit will be refunded in full. If we move forward together after the interview, your deposit will be applied to your publishing package.

What Authors Say About Working with Us

Since becoming an As You Wish Publishing author, my life has changed in ways I never expected. We sold over 1,200 copies in the first three months, and I was able to give back to my community with donations from each book sold. Publishing opened the door to speaking engagements and opportunities I didn’t even know existed. If you’re unsure who to trust with your book, I can’t recommend As You Wish Publishing enough—they make the process clear, supportive, and genuinely empowering.  —Kristi Blakeway, Beyond Hello

A huge thank-you to As You Wish Publishing for creating the path that helped me write, publish, and successfully launch my book. Their support made the process feel possible—and even enjoyable. If you’ve got a book in you, or you’re ready to get it out into the world, I can’t recommend As You Wish Publishing enough.  —Janet Zavala, The Nature of Transformation
