Our Burning Questions Answered

Tell us about your business. How did the idea for your business come about?

I have been an entrepreneur for 15 years and it is my passion to inspire, motivate, and encourage people to live their life and have a deeper meaning. I help through educating, speaking, and offering various workshops.

What are the highlights and low-lights of being an entrepreneur?

I have made it on my own for 15 years. The ups, downs, and everything in between. I have made a lot of money and I have lost it all. My biggest accomplishment in the last couple of years is learning the importance of life balance. This means being successful in business while continuing to balance time with my family, my personal hobbies and spiritual practices, health, friendships, and working on giving something back to my community.

What helps you stay driven and motivated to keep going in your business?

I believe in possibility. I believe that my life mission and vision continue to be unfolded and I will do the work that is necessary so that I can use my experience to help others.

What do you feel is a helpful pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?

Consistency, trial and error, and belief in possibility.

If you started your business again, what things would you do differently?

I am driven by passion. I am driven by focus. The thing I would change is believing in myself, aligning myself with my values, and staying focused on a specific outcome.

What valuable advice would you give new entrepreneurs starting out?

Be very clear how your personal story relates to your mission in business. Without this, you will become burned out and chasing after something that will eventually lose your interest

What 3 books do you feel were instrumental in your development as an entrepreneur?

There are a million, but these have impacted me the most in the last several years!
