Our Burning Questions Answered

Tell us about your business. How did the idea for your business come about?

It started when I was 14 years old, giving intuitive readings to all of the adults who knew about my intuitive gifts, there weren't many of them, but the ones who knew would ask my mother to ask her daughter "what she thought" when making decisions.

What are the highlights and low-lights of being an entrepreneur?

I feel the highlights and low-lights have been one and the same for me, the low-lights are facing the internal dialogue the mind likes to create to keep us safe. It shows up as self-doubt, insecurity, and fear. Not having or being enough. The highlights are the moments you overpower the mind and choose to honor your higher self instead of allowing the fear to hold you back. I also love witnessing my clients shift a belief system, achieve greater levels of success, and rise beyond their perceived limitations.

What helps you stay driven and motivated to keep going in your business?

Two things- 1. My "Why" which is to never settle in body, beliefs, or bank account

2. I would make a terrible employee at this point, always questioning things, breaking the rules making my own way. It serves me well but I have learned it needs to be an expression of my business and I don't do well being a cog in someone else's wheel.

What do you feel is a helpful pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?

Keep showing up, do your mindset work, get support (you will need it!) don't settle, be open to consulting your ultimate CEO: your inner guide.

If you started your business again, what things would you do differently?

I would have trusted more and begun facing my fears earlier on. I would choose to release all of the self-doubts and went all in sooner!

What valuable advice would you give new entrepreneurs starting out?

You get to do this YOUR way, be mindful of not chasing or following what someone else has created. It is not the way you are meant to do it, but if you keep showing up and cultivating a deep sense of trust in yourself, you will be successful. It is inevitable. Oh and..... YOU also get to decide what success means to you so there is no reason why you can't achieve it!

What 3 books do you feel were instrumental in your development as an entrepreneur?

1. Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert

2. The Game of Life and How To Play It Florence Scovel Shinn

3. Women Who Run with Wolves Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes

None of them are really about business, but they will shape and shift you and that, in turn, will be reflected in your business.
